Existing AI editorial concept: blue bottle prints joined by thread under a brass loupe; not the fictional tote or a tested pickup campaign.

A local pickup product ad should name the product, say that the customer orders online, and explain what must happen before collection. “Available for pickup” does not have to mean “ready now.” Keep the readiness condition beside the action, and send the reader to the actual pickup details for that product and location.

This worked example uses a fictional sage-green canvas tote. We entered its supplied facts into Panelly's live Brief Builder and built a text brief. The bag, shop and campaign were not tested; no product photo was uploaded and no ad image was generated. The output demonstrates text formatting, not stock checks or image quality. Small-business advertising ideas covers the broader planning task.

Separate an online pickup order from permission to arrive

An order invitation and a collection notification serve different jobs. Decide which job the advertisement has before choosing its headline. Shopify's pickup documentation describes marking an order ready as the step that sends its readiness email. That platform example does not prove how your own shop is configured.

What the customer can actually doAppropriate action wordingCheck before publishing
Order a product for later collectionView pickup detailsThe exact item and location offer pickup
Visit during confirmed shopping hoursView store detailsWalk-in shopping and those hours really exist
Collect an already prepared orderFollow the order's pickup instructionsThe specific customer has a real ready notification

A public acquisition ad is not a personal order notification. Do not show a fabricated “your order is ready” message as if the viewer has bought the bag. If you only offer shipping, a local-looking background does not create a pickup service.

Write pickup copy around the information you can confirm

Use a product-led headline when the exact product is the reason to act. Add the pickup condition in ordinary readable text. These are original editorial examples, not customer ads or tested winners:

  • **Product first:** “Sage-green canvas tote. Order online for local pickup.” Supporting line: “Wait for the ready-for-pickup email.” Action: “View pickup details.”
  • **Collection method first:** “Prefer local pickup? Explore the sage-green tote.” Supporting line: “Order online; collect after your ready email.” Action: “View pickup details.”
  • **Details first:** “Check pickup details for the sage-green tote.” Supporting line: “Confirm the location and collection instructions before you order.” Action: “View pickup details.”

The first two need a real email notification flow. If your shop uses another confirmed method, change the wording rather than promising an email it never sends. None of these lines establishes immediate availability, same-day preparation, free pickup or a reserved quantity. Those are separate facts to verify.

Keep unknown location details out of the working brief

The Brief Builder has a Product discovery goal, not a pickup-management mode. It organizes supplied text. In our actual form run, the core inputs were:

FieldFictional editorial input
ProductSage-green canvas tote
Format3:4, one complete static 2×2 image
AudienceLocal customers who can collect during confirmed pickup hours
MessageOrder online for local pickup; wait for the ready email
Missing factsNo shop address, opening hours, price or pickup deadline supplied

The real English output retained these complete lines:

Approved message: Order online for local pickup. Wait for the ready-for-pickup email.
Call to action: View pickup details
Do not add: No immediate or same-day readiness, free pickup, discount, stock guarantee, opening hours, address or delivery promise.

The formatter did not fill the missing address or hours with a plausible-looking invention. It also did not check the shop, reserve an item or send an email. Replace the fictional inputs with confirmed facts, build the brief and review its editable text. The brief checklist explains the other inputs. Opening Studio does not automatically transfer the tool's output; copy the reviewed text yourself.

Give the collection condition a visible place in the four-panel plan

The last panel should show the action and its condition together. A decorative pickup symbol cannot carry the instruction on its own. This table is a composition plan, not a generated tote image:

PanelVisual jobHuman check
Top leftPresent the actual tote and online-order messageProduct color and shape match the reference
Top rightShow a visible handle detailNo invented load capacity or durability claim
Bottom leftSuggest a neutral collection contextNo invented shop facade, opening hours or map pin
Bottom rightShow the CTA and wait-for-email conditionBoth are readable without guessing

A branded storefront, map, QR code or notification screenshot would add factual details. Use only real, authorized assets if those details belong in the ad. A neutral scene is an illustrative setting, not evidence that a specific store exists.

Bring a complete pickup-ad request to Studio

Open the four-panel Studio task, replace the fictional facts and attach the actual single product reference photo. Review the proposed plan and displayed credit cost; confirm generation explicitly when you intend to run it. This example request was not sent to a generation model:

Create one complete static 2×2 product ad, overall ratio 3:4, for a sage-green canvas tote.
Audience: local customers who can collect during the shop's confirmed pickup hours.
Use this copy: “Order online for local pickup.” “Wait for the ready-for-pickup email.” “View pickup details.”
Top left: the tote and online-order message. Top right: a visible handle detail, with no unsupported feature claim. Bottom left: a neutral collection context, without an invented store or address. Bottom right: the CTA and wait-for-email condition together.
Use the actual single tote reference photo attached in this conversation. Product appearance is a review requirement.
Do not add immediate or same-day readiness, free pickup, a discount, guaranteed stock, hours, address or shipping promise.
Deliver one static composite image, not four carousel files or a video. The product details are illustrative and must be replaced before real use.

The output is one flattened image. Requested copy and product appearance still need checking against the real facts and photo; instructions do not guarantee unchanged labels or pixels. If a revision changes a condition, inspect the whole new image, including parts you did not ask to change.

Review the exported ad and the destination as one promise

Read the downloaded image at its intended display size. In the local crop and fit tool, compare a crop with fitting the complete image. Reposition only when the product, pickup action and readiness condition stay readable. Fitting avoids trimming edges but can make the text smaller. The utility does not detect a missing word or certify a platform safe zone.

Then open the actual destination. Confirm the advertised item, pickup location, preparation information and notification method there. “View pickup details” should lead to usable details, not a shipping-only checkout or an unrelated homepage. Use the ad-to-page message check when comparing the two.

When collection arrangements change, update the advertising and shop in the systems where they run. Panelly does not synchronize pickup conditions or live ads. Start with the confirmed action in the Brief Builder, then bring the reviewed text and real reference to Studio.
