Editorial carton, abstract matrix card, blue loupe and brass ruler; not a functioning QR code, Hale product or wholesale inventory evidence.

Wholesale product ad copy should identify the trade buyer, show the case quantity beside any unit price, and distinguish the first-order requirement from the reorder requirement. An invitation to request a line sheet should end at that inquiry; it should not look like an approved account or a confirmed purchase.

This worked example turns those decisions into a static four-panel product ad. The product and terms are fictional. The recorded execution is local Brief text formatting and an input-file roundtrip, not a wholesale checkout, account approval, product photograph or image-generation test. The cover is an editorial concept, not evidence of the example's inventory.

Separate the order minimum from the case quantity

An order minimum describes the required order; a case quantity describes how a particular product can be bought. Write both when both affect the buyer's next decision. “Wholesale from $8” leaves the reader to discover whether one item is available at that price and whether a larger order is required.

Faire's order-minimum guidance distinguishes an initial purchase, a reorder and an item's minimum quantity within its marketplace. Its separate case-size explanation describes whole-case increments and product options. Those are attributed platform explanations, not universal trade terms or a Panelly integration.

A real merchant can also put these decisions in separate sections: Dolan Geiman's wholesale page separates eligibility, opening orders and reorders. Use that clarity as a structural reference, rather than copying the merchant's amounts, artwork, credit or shipping arrangements.

The uncertainty is practical. An original seller question asks whether small later purchases should receive the same wholesale treatment as a qualifying initial order. The replies disagree. This is one seller's problem, not a rule for your business or proof of how often buyers are confused. Decide your own actual terms before writing the ad.

Calculate the first possible order from supplied terms

The fictional Hale offer is a navy steel pen cup for independent shop buyers. Each cup has a wholesale price of USD 8, but it is sold only in cases of six cups of the same color. The product subtotal must reach USD 180 for an opening order. For reorders, the product-subtotal minimum is USD 48. Shipping and tax are additional; their amounts have not been supplied.

Supplied factWhat the ad must keep clear
USD 8 per cupThis is the unit price, not a one-cup order
Six navy cups per caseOne case has a product subtotal of USD 48
Opening subtotal at least USD 180Whole cases still apply
Reorder subtotal at least USD 48Returning buyers can request one case under these example terms
Request the wholesale line sheetThe next step is an inquiry, not order confirmation
Freight, tax, stock and timing unknownNo delivered total, dispatch promise or availability guarantee

For a first order of this one product, three cases give 18 cups and USD 144, below the minimum. Four cases give 24 cups and USD 192, which clears it. The opening minimum is USD 180, while the smallest eligible product subtotal in this particular example is USD 192. Neither figure is the delivered price. Do not round the ad down to “Start for $180” or suggest that the buyer can order 22.5 cups.

This is arithmetic on invented facts, not a wholesale pricing recommendation or a store calculation performed by Panelly. A different assortment or mixed-case rule changes the answer. The bundle-photography guide remains the owner for counting included items and separating props; here, the extra task is deciding whether the order qualifies.

Choose an ad angle for the buyer's order stage

Each direction below is original planning copy for the same fictional terms. Choose one opening; do not crowd all three into the first panel.

First contact: show how the opening minimum works

Headline: “Planning your first Hale order?” Body: “Navy pen cups: USD 8 each, cases of six. Opening product subtotal minimum USD 180; four cases total USD 192 before shipping and tax.” Action: “Request the wholesale line sheet.”

This direction is useful when a buyer needs a concrete starting quantity. Keep “four cases” visibly connected to the opening-order example rather than presenting four cases as a universal rule.

Product interest: connect the unit and case price

Headline: “Hale pen cups for your shop.” Body: “Navy steel cups, six per case. USD 8 each / USD 48 per case. Opening minimum USD 180 in product subtotal.” Action: “Request the wholesale line sheet.”

This opening introduces the product while keeping its purchasable quantity close to the price. It does not advertise a retail price, resale margin or discount.

Replenishment: label the returning-buyer requirement

Headline: “Reordering Hale?” Body: “Whole cases of six navy pen cups. Reorder product subtotal minimum USD 48. Shipping and tax additional.” Action: “Request the wholesale line sheet.”

Use this version only where the audience is genuinely a returning buyer. A public image may travel beyond its intended placement, so retain the word “reorder” rather than assuming the audience targeting explains the condition.

Format the actual wholesale facts into a reusable Brief

The Brief Builder can organize supplied facts into editable text. It does not decide your minimums, calculate wholesale eligibility or approve a trade account. The general creative-brief examples explain the broader field workflow.

This exercise actually ran the current local formatter with the following input. It did not submit a new online form or contact a supplier.

Actual fieldSupplied input
Goal and ratioLead generation; 1:1
ProductHale navy steel pen cup, wholesale
Approved messageUSD 8 each; six in one color per case, USD 48 per case; opening subtotal USD 180; reorder subtotal USD 48; whole cases only; shipping and tax additional
AudienceIndependent shop buyers considering an opening order or replenishment
Visual directionProduct, six-cup case plan, separate opening/reorder conditions, line-sheet invitation
Call to actionRequest the wholesale line sheet
ExclusionsNo retail price, margin, credit terms, approval, stock, timing or invented contact details

These are exact lines from the recorded English output:

Product: Hale navy steel pen cup, wholesale
Goal: Lead generation
Approved message: Wholesale unit price USD 8. Cases of 6 in one color: USD 48 per case. Opening product subtotal minimum USD 180; reorder minimum USD 48. Whole cases only. Shipping and tax are additional and not supplied.
Call to action: Request the wholesale line sheet
Offer: Not requested for this brief.
Deadline: Not requested for this brief.
Deliverable: One complete static 2×2 four-panel image; 1:1 overall aspect ratio.

The leads goal keeps the supplied trade terms in the approved message. Its promotion-only Offer and Deadline fields are not requested. An omitted deadline does not mean that an invented countdown should be added. The exercise also saved the input JSON, parsed it and rebuilt identical output. Saving inputs preserves fields; downloading text preserves the editable result. Neither operation sends the brief into Studio automatically.

Give one static image four clear wholesale jobs

Use one actual product photograph as an appearance reference when you are ready to create. Attaching a single cup photograph does not prove the appearance of a packed case or the accuracy of repeated quantities. Treat the four positions as a product introduction, a case-quantity explanation, an opening-order calculation and a line-sheet invitation.

Open the four-panel task in Studio, attach the actual photo, and adapt this illustrative request. It has not been sent to a provider:

Create one complete static 2×2 four-panel wholesale product ad, 1:1 overall.
Use my attached @image1 as the appearance reference for the Hale navy steel pen cup.
Audience: independent shop buyers considering a first wholesale order.
Approved terms: USD 8 per cup; cases of 6 in one color, USD 48 per case. Opening product subtotal minimum USD 180. Reorder minimum USD 48. Whole cases only. Shipping and tax additional.
Panel 1: introduce the navy cup for a shop buyer.
Panel 2: explain the six-cup case; make quantity easy to inspect.
Panel 3: label the opening example: 4 cases, 24 cups, USD 192 product subtotal before shipping and tax.
Panel 4: close with the product and “Request the wholesale line sheet”.
No retail price, margin, discount, credit, account approval, confirmed stock, dispatch date, contact details or QR code. Do not make an inquiry look like an accepted order.
Deliver one complete static image, not video or separate carousel files.

After a result exists, select that generated image and use Mention and refine to request a change, such as making the case price and unit price easier to distinguish. Selecting the result establishes which image to refine; merely typing an example token does not. Inspect the entire returned image. Text, quantities, labels and other regions are not guaranteed to remain correct or unchanged.

Check the exported ad against the actual line sheet

Review the ad and its destination together. Is the visible price per cup or per case? Does the example clear the opening minimum using whole cases? Is the reorder amount explicitly labeled? Does the line-sheet destination use the same actual terms? A correctly written image cannot repair a different rule on a supplier's website.

Count the pictured cups as well as reading the caption. Repeating a cup across four panels must read as several views, not an extra case included in the purchase. If the generated picture cannot communicate the count or the text reliably, revise or withhold it; a clean brief is not a quality certificate.

Use the image resizer to inspect crop versus fit at the needed pixel dimensions, then reopen the downloaded PNG and check prices, conditions and action text. The image compressor can test a JPEG or WebP against a byte target; its encoding setting is not a readability score, and JPEG fills transparent areas. Review the actual downloaded file again.

Start with one verified set of wholesale terms in the Brief Builder, then carry the reviewed message into the Studio four-panel task. The useful outcome is a clear product-ad request and an honest buyer next step, not an invented approval, sale or conversion result.
